With an emphasis on proper alignment, you will be guided into restorative positions that require less muscular effort to aid the release of tension through awareness and breathing. This brings balance to the body and fosters peace within the mind. Taking time to cultivate the skill of conscious relaxation through restorative yoga reinforces qualities such as patience, improved posture, and a heighted sense of awareness to help prevent careless injuries.

    Bring: yoga mat, blanket, extra bolster or pillow. Dress in layers to ensure warmth.
