    Chronic pain affects a large percentage of the population as we age. It may translate into sleep disturbances, muscular tensions or emotional stress and can keep you from enjoying your daily activities. Please consult with your physiotherapist or doctor, if applicable, before taking any yoga classes. In this class you will explore breathing techniques, gentle stretches and restorative options using props to promote relaxation and range of motion. Bring your pillows, bolsters, a blanket, and yoga blocks for support. Ages: 18 yrs. & up

Using the E.D.G.E. method (Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable) you will obtain knowledge and skills to confidently stop life threatening bleeding. This one-hour hands-on certification course will provide you with the skills to properly use: • Direct Pressure Bandages • Tourniquets: Commercial and DIY • Packed Dressings Additionally, you will gain an understanding of the physiology of bleeding and how to successfully control the scene. NOTE: The skills attained can be used in any situation where excessive bleeding is occurring.
